Let me take a few minutes to tell you about Back Country Quality Horses...

 

We strive to breed and offer only quality horses with awesome dispositions and great minds, we believe disposition and trainability are EVERY bit as important as comformation. Pretty is great in halter classes, but if you want a good riding horse, you need a great disposition and mind along with that body to get the job done.

 

We choose horses with all of these qualities for our breeding stock. They must be correct conformationally speaking, and they must have that "I'm your best-friend" attitude. AND... they have to be able to learn and retain what they are taught and do it willingly. Without these traits, they don't make the cut in our breeding program.

 

The horses we offer are generally registered stock, however, we are not necessarily breed particular, we offer Quarter Horses, Blazer Horses, and occasionally well-minded grade horses. We want to be able to offer quality horses that will satisfy many disciplines, whether you are looking for an adult or child sized horse.
